(All summer long you've been with me)Today's the last day of maternity leave.
I can't see enough of you
(All summer long we've both been free)
Won't be long til summer time is through
Also the last day of my thirtieth year.
Would have been our last day as renters, but the sellers needed an extra month for closing.
The Spud is all mine til late afternoon today. Mostly, this is to give the Dear Spouse a chance to do whatever the hell he wants before he becomes a full-time stay-at-home Dad. But it's also fitting, I think, that I spend some extra time with Spud before going back to work.
I have my new Starbucks Memory Tumbler all finished with some of my favorite Spud pictures.
What's that, you say? You'd like to see some of the pictures?
Spud at one month, looking thoughtful in his swaddling.
A week later. Spud in his sling, which he loves.
Six weeks old and about to outgrow that onsie. Playing in his crib.
Seven weeks. Labeled for your convenience! 100% real baby. Blanket by aemccurry. :)
Eight weeks old and already blogging with Daddy. Yeah, Mom doesn't get it, either.
